I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this work in Painter 2015. Then, when I wanted to grab that brush again, rather than the tiresome chore of going to the top and clicking through the library to find my brush, I just had to click the icon on the palette. In Painter 11, I had a custom palette that I dropped my brushes onto-you could drag and drop the icon from the various brush libraries directly into the palette and it would stick there.
